The festival is brought to you by Small World Theatre. This year will celebrate the magic of the forest, with illuminated tree sculptures, extraordinary forest creature lanterns, and mysterious plants that thrive beneath the canopy. The parade will shine a light on the importance of protecting and restoring temperate rainforests, some of the UK’s rarest and most precious woodland habitats, and the restoration work taking place to help them flourish for future generations.
The annual parade is a highlight of Cardigan’s festive calendar, attracting thousands of residents and visitors to enjoy its unique combination of giant puppetry, community-made lanterns and live performance.

Gŵyl y Golau
Mae'r ŵyl yn cael ei chreu gan Theatr Byd Bach. Fe benderfynon ni ar thema eleni sef hud y goedwig, gyda cherfluniau coed wedi’u goleuo, llusernau anifeiliaid y goedwig rhyfeddol, a phlanhigion hynod sy’n ffynnu yn y cysgodion. Bydd y parêd yn taflu golau ar bwysigrwydd gwarchod ac adfer y coedwigoedd tymherus, sef rhai o gynefinoedd coedwigoedd prinnaf a mwyaf gwerthfawr y DU, a’r gwaith adfer sy’n digwydd er mwyn eu helpu i flaguro ar gyfer cenedlaethau’r dyfodol.
Mae’r parêd blynyddol yn uchafbwynt calendar yr ŵyl yn Aberteifi, gan ddenu miloedd o drigolion ac ymwelwyr i fwynhau’r cyfuniad unigryw o bypedwaith enfawr, llusernau a wnaed gan y gymuned a pherfformiadau byw.
